Come to the Keweenaw Geoheritage Tour, sponsored by Gratiot Lake Conservancy. Last year’s tours were fully booked and received high praise. GLC will be bring back Daniel Lizzadro-McPherson to lead the exciting geo tour through time.
Daniel is in the process of mapping a specific segment of the fault near Gratiot Lake as part of his Master’s thesis at Michigan Tech. He has done work on Keweenaw GeoHeritage, fieldwork on the Keweenaw fault to enhance the USGS EdMAP, and is a GIS analyst at Michigan Tech’s Great Lakes Research Center.
